Sedation Dentistry For Oral Surgeries
We offer safe, gentle sedation dentistry services for those with dental anxiety, special healthcare needs, or for those scheduled for surgery. When you visit Family Dental Center for your surgical consultation, Dr. Gardner will assess your needs, past dental anxieties, and medical history to design your customized sedation plan.
Our surgical procedures at Family Dental Center include:
Dental Implants
For permanent tooth restoration, Dr. Gardner offers dental implants designed to look, feel and function just like your natural teeth! Whether you're missing one tooth, a few teeth, or an entire set, dental implants offer long-lasting and natural-looking results by using titanium posts implanted into the jawbone where luminous dental crowns can then be attached. They also require no dietary restrictions and are built to last for life.
We offer single dental implants, implant-retained dentures, and more, to meet your needs and restore your healthy smile!
Tooth Extractions
Dr. Gardner may recommend a tooth extraction if a tooth cannot be saved from a dental emergency, trauma or injury. We may also offer a preventive tooth removal surgery to help patients avoid pain, infection or crowding. Before any dental extraction, our team will provide a consultation, using digital imaging tools to assess the affected tooth and determine the healthiest treatment route.
Wisdom Tooth Removal
If you or your teen are ready to undergo wisdom tooth removal surgery, Dr. Gardner will work with you to determine the healthiest timing to have your wisdom teeth removed. Sometimes called third molars, wisdom teeth often need to be removed to avoid pain in the back of the mouth, infection, or crowding of the remaining teeth.
Root Canal Therapy
At Family Dental Center, root canal treatment is offered to remove infected areas of the soft, inner section of the tooth, also known as the pulp. When the pulp becomes infected, it can cause significant pain, and even cause the tooth to die without proper treatment. A root canal can save the tooth, allow for proper healing, and even help the tooth become stronger.
After the infection has been treated with root canal treatment, Dr. Gardner will seal the procedure and restore the tooth with a natural-looking dental crown. Family Dental Center uses CEREC technology to provide patients with same-day dental crowns, meaning each custom crown is made in-house on the very same-day as the root canal. You'll save time in the dentist's chair with no temporary crown or follow-up appointment necessary!
